My selfhosting setup

I'm often asked about the services I selfhost, so i'm going to list them in here in order of usefulness.

PDFDing

website · github

Selfhosted PDF manager, viewer and editor offering a seamless user experience on multiple devices

This is where I upload all my ebooks, papers and long articles so I can track my progress and add annotations (highlights, comments). I use it almost everyday and I can't imagine reading books without it.

Linkding

website · github

A self-hosted bookmark manager designed to be minimal, fast, and easy to set up.

I bookmark all articles, blogs or videos and tag them in linkding, which also archives them automatically, so I'm never worried about links dying.

Outline

website · github

The fastest knowledge base for growing teams. Beautiful, realtime collaborative, feature packed, and markdown compatible

Outline is very similar to Notion, this is where I write down my notes while reading a book, ideas, todo lists, drafts etc..

Miniflux

website · github

Minimalist and opinionated feed reader

An RSS feed reader, I subscribe to lobste.rs, lwn.net and some personal blogs I enjoy reading.

The Lounge (IRC)

website · github

Modern, responsive, cross-platform, self-hosted web IRC client

A web IRC client, I don't really use IRC but I occasionally read #zig #rust #lobsters

Bin

website · github

highly opinionated, minimal pastebin

A very nice pastebin.

ConvertX

github

Self-hosted online file converter. Supports 1000+ formats

This is much faster and safer than online converters.
